ASICS New York Collection Day has one look, night has another energy

ASICS New York Collection brings these two souls together in a single narrative, dividing footwear and apparel into the Day and the Night Energy Collection: two interpretations of the same city, translating the transition from day to night through different palettes, details, and technical solutions.

Day and Night Energy: two identities for the same city

The contrast between day and night becomes the underlying theme of the capsule. The Day Collection chooses deep, sophisticated hues, while Night Energy leans toward lilac, lavender, white, and graphite, adding shimmering finishes and details that stand out even more under the lights. Two distinct color palettes, yet sharing graphic motifs inspired by the IBUKI concept, reinterpreted through different textures and processes. An identity brought to the field in New York by Lorenzo Musetti, Belinda Bencic, and Jasmine Paolini, among the ASICS faces chosen to represent the collection.

Freedom of movement from day to night

The transition from day to night changes the aesthetic, not the focus on functionality. The New York Collection features solutions like ACTIBREEZE, developed to promote airflow and limit the buildup of heat and humidity, and ACTIMOTION, which introduces greater flexibility in the areas most affected during on-court movements. Jacquard fabrics, mesh inserts, and functional details complete the technical component, while in the Night Energy collection, luminous details and raised workmanship become even more evident under artificial lighting.

The Day Collection maintains a more subtle imprint, while Night Energy accentuates contrasts to make the logo stand out more under the court lights. The design changes, but the technical vocation remains that of ASICS performance models. At the core is the Playing Styles approach, which identifies speed and stability as two central elements of the modern game and develops specific solutions to support acceleration, lateral movements, and quick changes of direction.
